A football and sportswear handover program was successfully conducted at Shree Mahendra Secondary School, located in Ward No. 7 of Barahkshetra Municipality, Sunsari, with the aim of encouraging students to engage in sports.

With the objective of motivating local students to stay healthy and energetic through football, the sports gear was provided through the support of respected elder Mr. Kedar Prasad Gelal, Chairman of the KG Gelal Foundation, Baluwatar, Kathmandu, who is currently residing in the USA.

The gear was officially handed over today to the school by the School Management Committee Chairman Mr. Prashuram Acharya, Principal Mr. Firoz Ghimire, and the Chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association Mr. Pandav Singh Rai in a joint ceremony.

The event witnessed notable participation from the school community, including teachers, parents, and students. Expressing their gratitude to Mr. Gelal, the school representatives stated that such support would significantly contribute to the physical and mental development of the students.
